The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (often known as SSLC) is a certificate awarded after completing secondary education in India. It is generally given at the end of class 10th.
Significance of the certificate: Proof of completion of secondary education, required for admission to higher secondary education (11th and 12th class)
How to download your SSLC: You can download your SSLC in two ways (online and offline)
Through online mode: First of all you have the necessary documents like exam roll number and date of birth etc.
Go to DigiLocker portal. Click on the "My Documents" tab. Go to the "Education" section. Select "Secondary School Leaving Certificate". Enter the required information and download your SLC.
Visit the e-Vidya portal of your state. Login and select “SLC Download” option. Enter the required information and download your SLC.
Through Offline: Go to your school: Go to your native school and apply for SLC. Pay the required fees. After a few days, you will get your SLC.
To download online, you must have a valid Aadhar card and mobile number linked to it.
If you have forgotten your roll number, you can get it from your school.
If you have lost your SLC, you can apply for a duplicate SLC.
